Event Marketing

A single stop service that lets you create and define all aspects of your events, send out detailed invitations by email, define registration limitations and fees, receive registration and payments online, and track attendance and other event statistics.

Starting a New Event

There are two ways to start an event. The first is to click the Create New Event link on the home tab.

And the other is to click the New Button under the Event Tab.

Both methods will take you to the initial page of Event creation, where you will need to provide an internal event name, for use in the event list and registration reporting and an external name for public view.

Each event needs a start and end time, which can be set using the calendar tool to define the date and the drop down menus to specify the time of day.

Each event requires a location, but this location can be as general or as specific as the event needs, providing anything from a name or general location to a full address. A link map can be inserted into the event page using the address information provided, as can a set of written directions.

The event contact section has sections for the contact’s name, email, phone, cell, and fax numbers, their company name, and website. All Event Contact information is optional.

If you choose to restrict registration so that it is not open to all types of people, you will need to decide which Member Types are able to register. A short message can be left for those ineligible to register. Deleting or changing the Member type of a Member to an ineligible type will not void their event registration.

You can select to close your event automatically at a certain number of registrations, on a certain date, or manually. Closure options are inclusive, so an event selected to be closed by date or registration number will be closed when either condition is fulfilled.
