Dear Members and Friends,

We are glad to introduce you to a new event going on in the near future. The government delegation from Beijing Fengtai District will be in North Carolina to visit and explore potential opportunities. NCCBA and Beijing Fengtai District will be co-hosting a communion seminar on Nov. 19 (Monday) from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences.

Beijing Fengtai District has a key functional area as Fengtai Science Park, which is an important part of the Zhongguancun Science Park, and it plays a major role in the the hi-tech industry development in Beijing.

As scheduled, Ms. Zhangjie, the deputy district head and the director of the Fengtai management committee will introduce the Development Plan of Fengtai Science Park, Fengtai District as a whole, and other Science and Technology related industries in Beijing. The seminar will also cover topics such as hi-tech talent recruiting policies and international exchange policies.

Also, Mr. Guo Jianqiang, Director of the New Pharmaceutical Beijing Technology Transfer Center, Director of Industry Management and Operation Center of Capital Medical University, will introduce the current situation of Capital Medical University in terms of research, academics, productions and medical practices. Many hospitals in Beijing are affiliated with Capital Medical University, such as Xuanwu Hospital, Youyi Hospital, Chaoyang Hospital, Tongren Hospital and Tiantan Hospital.
