       month/ year
 Dear NCCBA Colleagues and Friends,

We decided to cancel NCCBA (2/18) event due to continued snow and icy rain forecasted tomorrow afternoon.

Happy Chinese New Year – 2015 is the Year of the Goat: a symbol for Dedication, Kindness, and Justice.

I am truly honored and privileged to serve again as the NCCBA President. NCCBA’s mission is to create opportunities for networking, promote entrepreneurship within the business community in North Carolina, and bridge the exchange of Sino-US businesses. Over the past ten years, we hosted hundreds of seminars and workshops, developed partnerships with several fine organizations, and gained diverse groups of members between both North Carolina and China.

Over the next 12 months, you will see the following:

·       Establishing and executing a series of “Marquee Events”. Coming up immediately:

-       March 17th: Becoming a Bulletproof Employee and Employer - Employment Law Explained, with Thomas Colclough, Deputy District Director, EEOC

      Register: http://mship.co/bhjazezefjbzknszd

-       April 7th: NC Economic Development and Competitiveness, with Christopher Chung, CEO, Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC)

      Register: http://mship.co/bhijzezefjbzknrzd

-       May 15th-17th: Doing Business with China, two-day Boot Camp, co-hosted with the NCSU Confucius Institute.

·       Partnering with other complimentary organizations, and reaching into related government agencies and business in both US and China.

·       Bridging more business development activities between North Carolina and China.

In addition, we will continue to provide you with networking and educational opportunities through spontaneous events and activities.

Finally, NCCBA needs a few more volunteers.  Contact me directly if you are in applying in any of our NCCBA leadership and volunteer opportunities.

Thank you for giving me such an exciting opportunity and I look forward to serving you.

Best Regards,

YanChing, (919)-637-8579  yanching@nc-cba.org
